Privacy Policy 🔒

The short version: we don't collect much, and we never sell anything about you.

Last updated: August 3, 2026

This page covers two things: the SquishyBliss website, and the Squishy Crew app for Android. The website sections come first. The app is covered in its own section at the bottom, and it works differently: no affiliate links, no cookies, no analytics, and no advertising of any kind. The analytics described in the website sections run on the website only and are not in the app.

Who we are

SquishyBliss (squishybliss.net, also reachable at squishsquash.live) is a website about squishies, slime, and sensory fun for families. This policy explains what information is involved when you visit and how it's used.

What we collect

There are no accounts to create and no comment boxes, so browsing the site asks nothing of you. Three things do involve information:

  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically keeps standard logs (things like IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and troubleshooting.
  • Newsletter signups. If you choose to join our email list, we store the email address you give us, plus the date you confirmed and the emails we've sent you. We ask you to confirm by clicking a link before we send anything, we never sell or rent the list, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe. Nothing else on the site requires an email address.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages people find useful. Details are in the next section.

Analytics

SquishyBliss uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is being used: which pages get visited, roughly where in the world visitors come from, and whether people arrived from a search engine or a link. This helps us decide what to write next.

To do that, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects a truncated version of your IP address along with basic device and browser information. We don't send Google your name, email address, or anything else that identifies you personally, and we have advertising personalization features switched off. The data we see is aggregated counts, not individual profiles.

If you'd rather not be counted, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, turn on your browser's "Do Not Track" or tracking-protection setting, or block cookies as described below. The site works exactly the same either way. Google's own practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Amazon affiliate links

SquishyBliss is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When you click a "Shop on Amazon" link, Amazon may set cookies in your browser so purchases can be credited to us. This doesn't change the price you pay, and we never see your name, payment details, or what you ultimately buy — only anonymous totals. Amazon's own privacy practices are described in the Amazon Privacy Notice.

Cookies

SquishyBliss uses two kinds of cookies, and neither is required to read the site. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell one visit apart from another, as described above. Clicking a "Shop on Amazon" link may pick up a cookie from Amazon so a purchase can be credited to us. We don't set advertising cookies of our own, and we don't run ad networks on the site.

You can clear or block cookies anytime in your browser settings. Blocking them won't break anything here.

Children's privacy

The SquishyBliss website is written for parents, teachers, and families shopping for craft supplies and toys, rather than for children to browse on their own. The Squishy Crew app is different, and is covered in its own section below. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Third-party links

Links to Amazon and other outside sites leave SquishyBliss, and those sites have their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review the policies of any site you visit.

Changes & contact

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Questions? Email us at squishy@pdgeeks.com and we'll answer as promptly as we can.

The Squishy Crew app for Android 🎬

This section covers the Squishy Crew app for Android, published by Albert Publishing House. Everything above applies to the squishybliss.net website. This part applies to the app.

What the app collects

Nothing. The Squishy Crew app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about the people who use it. There are no accounts and no sign-in. We don't know who you are and we have no way to find out.

Specifically, the app collects none of the following:

  • Names, email addresses, or any other contact information
  • Location of any kind, precise or approximate
  • Photos, videos, files, or anything else stored on the device
  • Contacts, calendar entries, or messages
  • The advertising ID or any other persistent device identifier
  • Analytics, usage statistics, or behavioral data
  • Crash reports

What the app does

When you open the app it downloads a list of episodes from our own server at squishybliss.net and plays the videos from that same server. Those are ordinary web requests, the same as visiting a page in a browser. Our web server keeps standard access logs recording the request and the network address it came from, used to keep the server running and not connected to any person.

The app saves a copy of the episode list on the device so it opens quickly next time. That file holds episode titles, descriptions, and video addresses. It holds nothing about you, and removing the app removes it.

Advertising in the app

There is none. No banners, no video ads, no sponsored content, and no advertising networks. Nothing plays automatically after an episode ends. The affiliate links described earlier appear on the website only and are not in the app.

Children and the app

The Squishy Crew app is made for children aged three to ten and is designed to be used by children. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects no personal information from children.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the United Kingdom's Age Appropriate Design Code, and Google Play's Families policy.

Third parties in the app

The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking software. The videos and episode information come from servers we operate ourselves. No data about you is shared with anyone, because none is gathered in the first place.

Changes to the app section

If a future version of the app ever collects anything, this section will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described here rather than quietly folded in.
